Responsibilities
Primarily, you will create new document templates and modify existing ones to ensure the security documents database meets current business requirements.
You will assist collecting market information on the issuance of security documents globally by liaising with various stakeholders including other Thales departments, international organizations, security documents suppliers, etc.
Collaborating with Security Document Experts, you will contribute to testing and enhancing the Thales Document Verification product.
You will support Thales' customers in maintaining an effective, high-quality Document Verification solution for both public and private sectors.
You will monitor the progress of security document coverage within the global circulation of current documents.
You will maintain meta-data and product documentation associated to the security documents database in the context of Thales’ automated document verification engine.
You will handle additional tasks within the scope of the Product as assigned by your manager.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Criminology, or a related field.
Experience in security document production or inspection projects, along with knowledge of automated security document verification equipment, technologies and software tools is highly desirable.
A strong understanding of forensic analysis of security documents or experience working with forensic experts in the field of counterfeit document detection.
Expertise in security documents, including physical and optical security features, as well as document production and personalization techniques.
Basic understanding of global standards for identity and travel documents.
Familiarity with image processing techniques, such as filtering and basic editing, along with advanced knowledge of image quality and compression techniques.
Advanced English & Spanish (oral & written).
