About the role
- Independently perform a research project and define research strategy
- Architect novel approaches to complex technical challenges in ML/NLP/GenAI
- Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and experimentation
- Translate cutting-edge research into practical applications and product features
- Collaborate with product leadership and domain experts
- Spearhead conceptualization and development of next-generation risk and fraud investigation platforms
- Drive AI transformation across Thomson Reuters' Risk and Fraud portfolio (CLEAR, CLEAR Adverse Media, CLEAR Risk Inform)
- Collaborate across teams to deliver research outcomes into production
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or related field
- 7+ years of industry or research experience leading AI/ML/NLP research initiatives
- Track record of publications in NLP
- Deep expertise in state-of-the-art NLP architectures
- Knowledge Graph research experience
- Advanced GenAI methodologies experience
- Advanced proficiency in Python
- Experience with deep learning frameworks and distributed computing
- Experience with large-scale model training
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with MLOps practices
- Ability to independently define research strategy and architect novel approaches
- Experience in rapid prototyping and experimentation
