About the role
- QA Automation Engineer working on robust automated test design for CCC Intelligent Solutions’ cloud-based platform. Collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and product managers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks
- Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend services using Java-based frameworks
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium or Selenide
- Support manual testing efforts where necessary, especially for exploratory, usability, or edge-case scenarios
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback and quality checks
- Perform root cause analysis for failed tests and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in test automation
- Strong programming skills in Java / Python
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, PyTest, etc.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured
- Experience with test reporting tools like Allure
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, automation strategy and processes
- Nice to have: Experience with performance, load, or security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
