About the role
- QA Analyst with automation expertise for the Câmbio squad developing tech solutions at a fintech. Collaborating in agile environments to ensure quality and reliability of deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design and execute test cases (manual and automated) to ensure the quality of the FX squad’s deliverables.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts for web applications, APIs and internal processes.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily, planning, review, retrospective), contributing feedback and suggestions to improve product quality.
- Identify, log and track bugs through to resolution, ensuring that fixes are properly tested.
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners and other squad members to define acceptance criteria and testing strategies.
- Support validation of integrations between internal and external systems (including messaging systems and financial APIs).
- Ensure deliverables comply with applicable security standards and regulatory requirements for foreign exchange.
Requirements
- Experience in analysis, requirements gathering and defining functionalities.
- Proven experience in test automation with Cypress, including creating and maintaining scripts.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for developing and maintaining tests.
- Familiarity with Node.js and Express, understanding application flow and architecture to plan effective tests.
- Experience with MongoDB and Oracle for validating and manipulating data during tests.
- Knowledge of REST API testing and validation of integrations between systems.
- Experience using tools such as Postman, Insomnia or RestAssured for API testing.
- Version control with Git and experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps).
