About the role
- Program & Quality Assistant Manager overseeing testing quality in Manulife’s Integrated Compliance Services team. Driving efficiency and effectiveness in testing processes with strong regulatory compliance focus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of testing programs and ensure quality
- Drive efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability in testing processes
- Collaborate with Compliance functions Program and/or Testing leads
- Perform hot or cold review on testing activities
- Report status and issues to Segment Compliance Executives and Global Compliance Testing Lead
- Provide expertise and guidance on testing methodologies and processes
- Represent ICS and Asia Segment in the Global Testing Committee.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in internal/external audit or regulatory compliance
- Expertise in at least one of the following areas: Overall AML, Privacy, or Distribution
- 1-2 years leadership experience
- Familiarity with compliance documentation database/tools
- College/University Degree and/or equivalent experience in Education, Legal, Finance, Business, or related fields
- Moderate to advanced training in MS Excel including using formulas, macros and report formatting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technology skills including knowledge of applicable compliance or business systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project management skills.
