About the role
- Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap for benchtop bioreactor consumables
- Influence product-related decisions and proactively address critical issues
- Adapt strategy to market changes, customer needs, and competitive pressures
- Use customer insights, market research, and industry trends to identify unmet needs and opportunities
- Develop business cases from customer needs and trends and align stakeholders
- Advocate for the product portfolio and engage with key customers to build relationships
- Lead product from concept to market, ensuring it meets customer needs and business objectives
- Prioritise and develop new product offerings balancing short-term and long-term priorities
- Create and communicate value propositions to the market
- Guide operations on expected volumes, margin expectations, and market vision
- Use technical understanding to develop solutions and adapt to customer needs
- Manage product lifecycle and optimise performance through customer feedback and data
Requirements
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Science or a related field
- Seasoned professional experience in Life Science
- Several years in a complex customer-facing role, ideally in sales or within a customer in the pharma industry
- Meaningful experience across different functions (PD, Ops, Sales, Marketing etc.)
- Role-model leader and team player able to rally relevant parties and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
- Outstanding presence, influencing and presentation skills
- Good understanding of customer workflows, needs and related market dynamics
- Strong ability to translate customer understanding into customer-centric solutions and orchestrate their launch
- Outstanding decision-making skills, able to make complex and timely decisions with limited data
- Fluent in English
- Willing to travel up to 50%
