About the role

  • Support with welding technical expertise in development in production
  • Qualification and documentation of developed welding processes
  • Support the factory's manufacturing units with questions that can arise
  • Support and train personnel in welding processes
  • Participate in projects as a specialist in welding processes
  • Process monitoring and control
  • Review manufacturing documentation such as drawings, specifications, WPQR/WPS
  • Document manufacturing processes and present to customers
  • Contact with customers, suppliers, and other Westinghouse fuel factories

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience evaluating welded products against applicable standards such as ISO 5817
  • Experience working with processes from a welding engineer's perspective
  • Additional training focused on welding specialist, IWS, IWT or IWE
  • Professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of welding processes, coaching and certification of welding personnel according to ISO 9606
