• **Role Purpose**
• ** You will design and deliver certified Power BI semantic models that power the organization’s analytics ecosystem. Your work will ensure data integrity, governance, and top-tier performance — enabling leaders and teams to make confident, data-driven decisions. Collaboration with Data Engineering and Governance teams will be key to driving accuracy, consistency, and business adoption.
• **Key Outcomes**
• ** • Develop and maintain a certified Power BI dataset and semantic model with robust RLS, ownership documentation, and defined refresh SLAs.
• Deliver KPI catalogs, metric lineage, and consistently high dashboard performance (sub-two-minute load time).
• Promote self-service analytics adoption across the business through trusted, well-governed data assets.
• **Responsibilities**
• ** • Model data in Power BI using best-fit strategies (Import, Direct Lake, or Direct Query).
• Design star schemas, calculation groups, and optimized DAX expressions.
• Implement and manage RLS roles and policies; handle dataset certifications and performance SLAs.
• Define and align semantic contracts with upstream teams to ensure data quality, lineage, and glossary accuracy.
• Build polished, executive-ready dashboards and implement telemetry, access controls, and lifecycle management processes.

Requirements

• **Qualifications**
• ** • 5+ years in Business Intelligence with advanced Power BI expertise (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization, and governance).
• Proven experience delivering certified datasets and RLS models at enterprise scale.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Azure Purview or similar data lineage tools.
