About the role
- Platform Engineer focusing on operations and maintenance of enterprise shared systems for Regions. Designing, deploying, and improving applications while collaborating with development teams.
Responsibilities
- Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operation systems
- Oversees development and installation of new hardware and software
- Assists development teams to onboard new applications on enterprise platforms (CI/CD, API Gateway, etc.)
- Develops utilities/script/capabilities/APIs for day-to-day operation, maintenance and new environment setup activities
- Identifies and resolves business systems issues
- Develops and implements strategies to improve systems
- Typically has full ownership of a process
- May act as a procedural expert
- May lead the work of junior level associates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Five (5) years of related experience
