About the role
- OpenStack Consultant advising clients on cloud infrastructure and OpenStack implementations. Focus on private and hybrid cloud infrastructures with technical documentation and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Beratung unserer Kunden bei der Konzeption, Implementierung und Weiterentwicklung von OpenStack-Umgebungen
- Planung und Aufbau von Private- und Hybrid-Cloud-Infrastrukturen auf Basis von OpenStack
- Integration von OpenStack in bestehende Systemlandschaften (z. B. Kubernetes, Ceph, Ansible, Terraform)
- Analyse und Optimierung bestehender OpenStack-Installationen hinsichtlich Skalierbarkeit, Performance und Sicherheit
- Unterstützung bei Automatisierungs- und Orchestrierungsprojekten
- Erstellung technischer Dokumentationen, Architekturbeschreibungen und Betriebskonzepte
- Mitarbeit in interdisziplinären Projektteams sowie Wissenstransfer an Kunden und Kollegen
Requirements
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Informationstechnik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Cloud-Infrastrukturen mit OpenStack
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in Linux-Systemadministration (z. B. Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS)
- Erfahrung mit Virtualisierungstechnologien (KVM, VMware) und Storage-Systemen (Ceph, Swift, Cinder)
- Kenntnisse in Automatisierungs-Tools wie Ansible, Terraform oder Puppet
- Verständnis für Netzwerktechnologien (SDN, Neutron, VLAN, VXLAN)
- Erfahrung mit CI/CD-Pipelines, Containertechnologien (Docker, Kubernetes) und Monitoring-Tools
- Analytisches Denken, ausgeprägte Kundenorientierung und Kommunikationsstärke
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
