Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning models for a variety of tasks, including computer vision and natural language processing
- Take ownership of different stages of the machine learning workflow, from data collection and preprocessing to model selection, training, evaluation, and deployment
- Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and contribute to the development of AI solutions
- Maintain clear and organized documentation of methodologies, experiments, and results to support transparency and reproducibility
- Provide input on technical decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenging AI problems
- Stay up to date with emerging machine learning techniques and tools, and apply them to improve existing solutions and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience with software development in Python
- 2+years of experience in machine learning development, from data processing to model implementation, training, evaluation, optimization, and deployment
- Experience with deep learning
- Experience with computer vision and/or large language models (LLMs)
- Business level proficiency in English.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Experience with ML workflows and tools, including unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, model tracking, and artifact management
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure
- Experience in model deployment on edge devices
- Business level proficiency in Japanese
