About the role
- Mental Health Therapist at Ellie Mental Health providing therapy and treatment plans. Collaborating with clients and community providers to enhance mental health care in Clarkston, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation according to company policy
- Maintain a minimum caseload of 25 client visits per week for Full-Time status clinicians
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve goals
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines
- Coordinate services with case managers and other personnel as needed
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
Requirements
- Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
- Valid state of Michigan License (LLMFT, LLMSW, LLPC)
- Experience with treatment plans and clinical case notes
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services in a timely manner
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Proficient in the use of typical office technology and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
