About the role
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate providing outpatient therapy sessions and care coordination for behavioral health at RHA Health Services. Engaging with interdisciplinary teams and overseeing service users' needs in North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Running individual, family and group outpatient therapy sessions
- Conducts comprehensive clinical assessment and makes service recommendations.
- Conducts consumer screening and orientation.
- Conducting inpatient group therapy sessions
- Orienting new service users to RHA
- Developing person-centered plans for service users
- Oversee the discharge planning process
- Facilitating relationships between RHA, service user families/legal guardians and various social service community resources, such as food stamp and housing assistance, healthcare, job training and placement and substance abuse support groups
Requirements
- Must meet the requirements of a LCSW
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate is defined as an individual who is: (a) an individual who holds a license, provisional license, certificate, registration or permit issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession or (b) the individual must meet the requirements for continuing education to maintain licensure.
- Must meet the education, experience, licensure/certification requirements specified by the service definition of the service being provided.
- Complete criminal background Name checked in the registries.
- Drug testing
- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
- Proof of employment history or references (if required)
- Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
