About the role
- Reviewing, negotiating and amending (international) sales and vendor contracts
- Advising on data protection matters, from negotiating data processing agreement to assisting the business in drawing up data transfer analyses
- Assisting on day-to-day corporate work
- Supporting business with performing risk analyses and mitigation actions
- Advising business on company’s policies
- Following legal developments and translating these into practical instructions to board and business.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in (European Union member state) law
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial contracting, preferably dealing with IT and privacy matters
- Interest in contract, IT and privacy laws
- Interest in working for the financial sector with its regulatory environment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Excellent drafting and communication skills in English – knowing some Dutch is preferred
- Daring to advise and taking a position, thereby balancing risks and business interests
- Cooperative, down-to-earth and pro-active.
