About the role
- Perform development and verification of protocols and applications such as ACAS, XDR, ADSB-In, Traffic Apps, IO, Maintenance, OMS, Dataload and core modules
- Verify Avionics DAL B products in CNS Domain
- Develop common supporting tools necessary for development/verification
- Execute unit, integration, and system-level tests for embedded surveillance software
- Develop validation tests and document test results
- Participate in peer reviews of requirements, design, and code
- Support software audits and reviews by certification authorities
- Raise anomalies and ensure timely resolution of software issues
- Build CI/CD pipelines and work with DevOps for streamlined deployments
- Troubleshoot build issues and support deployments
- Collaborate with architects and senior developers to create scalable, extensible solutions
Requirements
- B.Tech/M.Tech with Understanding of Avionics Systems/Software Architecture – CNS, FMS, FCS or Displays
- Strong proficiency in C++, Wind River OS, and Python with independent developer experience
- Solid background in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): requirements, design, coding, integration, and verification with exposure to DO-178C
- Core expertise in V&V, SCA, debugging, troubleshooting, White-box, and unit/integration/verification testing
- Experience with hardware–software integration and board-level debugging
- Hands-on with tools: PyATE, RapiTest, Git
- 4-6 Years of Avionics Experience
- Experience working on Agile Methodology
- Background check required for India (may include drug screen)
