About the role
- Design and build scalable, performant systems supporting high traffic and data volumes
- Write high-quality, maintainable code and model best practices in testing and delivery
- Translate business needs into product-focused technical solutions
- Ensure software is tested, monitored, and reliable
- Partner with Product, Design, and stakeholders to align priorities and deliver value
- Mentor and coach team members and support their technical growth
- Contribute to architecture discussions and evolve systems for growth and scale
- Lead initiatives end-to-end and raise standards on testing, observability, and code quality
Requirements
- Experience as a full-stack engineer or tech lead within collaborative product engineering teams
- Background in building distributed, scalable, and reliable systems
- Familiarity with high-transaction, high-traffic, or low-latency environments
- Hands-on experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and Kubernetes
- Commitment to writing secure, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Supportive leader who builds trust, inclusivity, and shared responsibility
- Any exposure to AdTech (audience segmentation, programmatic buying, real-time bidding, personalised ad delivery, campaign optimisation) is beneficial
