About the role
- Lead a QA Team in Paris, working closely with video game production teams in an international environment
- Provide hands-on leadership by example
- Assist in growth and development of team members through trainings, reviews, and evaluations
- Work with producers and stakeholders to define testing plans and processes for embedded Dev QA and external General QA
- Work hands-on with QA teams to ensure quality of deliverables and thorough testing coverage
- Proactively contribute to development and deployment of QA tools
- Ensure excellent communication, positive working relationships and teamwork within development & QA teams and across disciplines
- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, tools and processes
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in QA lead role in the game industry (could be less if supported by relevant QA experience from other branches of IT industry)
- Proven track record of shipped (preferable AAA) games on multiple platforms (PC, console, mobile) in senior or lead role
- Project and people management skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of testing methodology as well as required software (JIRA / TTP, Excel, PowerPoint...)
- Good knowledge of QA tools covering different areas of development pipeline, their design & functionality
- Being fluent in English is mandatory for communicating : English written and spoken
- Working knowledge of SCRUM and Agile practices
- Work well / respond to pressure
- Think critically and apply analytical skills in resolving complex issues
- Quickly master proprietary tools and development processes
- Strong videogames knowledge
