Responsibilities
- lead the development of innovative, customer-facing Blockchain products for a greenfield project
- architect and build secure, scalable, and user-centric digital asset solutions

- develop and implement groundbreaking blockchain-based systems focused on FinTech use cases
- mentor engineers, contribute to open-source communities, and represent Fidelity Labs’ Digital Assets startup as a thought leader in the Blockchain space
Requirements
- 10+ years of proven experience designing and leading all aspects of large-scale, secure, and highly available financial or Blockchain systems
- 10+ years of proven experience designing and delivering secure, scalable developer platforms and cloud-native applications on AWS
- Proficiency with document, distributed, and relational databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL (JSONB), and MySQL
- Experience in TypeScript, Python, Rust, or Go in developing server side, API driven application
- Experience with agile development, rapid prototyping, iterative feature validation, and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide engineering teams
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, multi-functional teams, senior partners, and customers
- Experience utilizing, integrating, and ideally contributing to open-source software projects
- Passion for staying at the forefront of Blockchain innovation
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Cryptography, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)
