- Leverage data to drive strategic and operational decisions across our ecosystem.
- Lead complex analytical projects, mentor junior data scientists, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Design and implement sophisticated statistical and machine learning models.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable data insights.
- Develop and enforce data governance and quality standards.
- Design and execute A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies.
- Create high-impact visualizations and dashboards.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data science.
Requirements
- Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced academic qualifications are highly desirable.
- 5-7 years of experience in data science or a related field, preferably within the on-demand services or technology industry.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, as well as proficiency with data manipulation and visualization libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, seaborn).
- Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, with experience applying them to real-world problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A passion for learning and innovation, with a desire to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving field of data science and technology.
- Experience with ride hailing, quick commerce or food delivery domain would be a bonus.
- Experience working with unstructured or semi-structured data and human-in-the-loop data operations would be a bonus.
- Experience with distributed systems would be a bonus.
