About the role
- Landscape Design & Estimating Specialist at Freeman Landscape creating designs and estimates for outdoor spaces. Collaborating with clients to bring landscape and hardscape projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Creating landscape and hardscape plans using CAD or other design software.
- Preparing accurate estimates, take-offs, and proposals for commercial projects.
- Reviewing and interpreting plans, specifications, and addenda for bidding and construction.
- Coordinating with vendors and our in-house Nursery Manager to ensure accurate plant and material selections.
- Visiting job sites to confirm measurements and evaluate conditions.
- Supporting the Install Division with value-engineering, revisions, and presentation materials.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and teammates.
Requirements
- Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in landscape design, estimating, or construction project coordination
- Proficiency in a Design Software and Microsoft Office (Adobe Suite or Aspire experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of plants, materials, and construction methods
- A self-starter with excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
