About the role
- Junior Cloud Engineer responsible for supporting PPG's Alibaba cloud infrastructure and services. Collaborating with various teams and enhancing cloud capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our Alibaba cloud infrastructure and services.
- Contribute to the enhancement of PPG's Alibaba Cloud platform, including core IT infrastructure shared services, by implementing self-service capabilities and automating resource deployment.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, security architects, and frontline IT teams to ensure solutions meet business and IT needs.
- Demonstrate a passion for learning, keeping up to date on technical advancements, and industry trends.
- Develop skills in cloud cost management, security compliance, and automation.
Requirements
- One year of experience working within Aliyun or Alibaba Cloud Console
- The ability to speak Mandarin is a bonus for this role
- Basic understanding of Alibaba cloud networking
- Familiarity with Alibaba Policy or principle of least privilege via IAM
- Familiarity with cloud automation tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, Ansible) or scripting languages (Powershell, Python, Bash) are considered a plus.
