About the role

  • Investment Analyst at PGIM involved in detailed financial analysis and restructuring of distressed assets. Collaborating with teams to execute complex investment strategies in the asset management sector.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed financial modeling, scenario analysis, and valuation
  • Prepare investment committee materials including screening memos and full investment memoranda
  • Support due diligence efforts including coordination with legal, tax, consultants, and third-party advisors
  • Participate in structuring and negotiating transaction terms and documentation
  • Monitor financial and operational performance of portfolio companies
  • Assist in the development and execution of turnaround plans and strategic initiatives
  • Prepare periodic valuation analyses and reporting for stakeholders
  • Perform industry and company research to support investment theses
  • Track macroeconomic trends and sector-specific developments
  • Interface with management teams, lenders, legal counsel, and advisors
  • Collaborate with internal teams including legal, tax, and fund operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, restructuring advisory, asset management, or consulting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong financial analysis capabilities including proficiency in interpreting financial statements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines
  • Participation in the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) program is a plus
