Responsibilities
Undertake research on new products and systems
Work with design teams and review drawings
Assist senior colleagues with the development of fire strategies
Review proposed design drawings and provide guidance on design development
Review design drawings and provide fire compartmentation requirements
Attend internal and external meetings
Develop knowledge and understanding of applicable fire safety codes
Liaise with a wider team of highly skilled fire consultants
Requirements
Understanding of fire safety codes, i.e., ADB, BS 9991, and BS 9999
Competency in using systems such as Bluebeam, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Outlook
Ability to assist engineers and senior engineers in the development of fire safety strategies
Researching new products and systems
Undertaking design reviews and providing guidance to achieve compliance with fire safety strategies.
