About the role

  • Design, develop, and implement data pipelines that power business insights and operational efficiency across the organization.
  • Gain hands-on experience working with cloud technologies, large data sets, and modern data tools.
  • Collaborate with architects, data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand existing systems, and build reliable, scalable data solutions.
  • Assist in creating data sets, performing data analysis, and building dashboards using modern BI tools.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Data Science, or another engineering discipline.
  • Completed sophomore year of undergraduate studies.
  • Completed at least one computer programming course and understand fundamental programming concepts.
  • Basic or previous understanding of Python (strongly preferred).
  • Understand relational databases and SQL; familiarity with PostgreSQL is a plus.
  • Interest in data engineering, data analytics, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborative and enjoy working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and resourceful in identifying, analyzing, and solving data-related challenges.
  • Positive attitude, passion for learning, and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Familiar with or open to learning data visualization tools (such as QuickSight or Tableau).
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, especially AWS (preferred).
