About the role

  • Interior Designer & Materials Curator focusing on upscale designs and material sourcing for renovation projects. Collaborating with clients and vendors to ensure project success while maintaining design integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Space plan with ergonomics, flow, and proportion in mind.
  • Guide clients with tasteful, upscale design decisions that stay within budget.
  • Curate and select finishes: tile, countertops, flooring, hardware, lighting, cabinetry, and furnishings.
  • Build direct-to-manufacturer relationships to unlock pricing, exclusivity, and efficiency.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with PMB project managers to ensure materials align with construction timelines.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of interiors, finishes, and design principles (scale, proportion, lighting, ergonomics, texture layering).
  • Experience curating and sourcing tile, stone, wood, lighting, and furnishings.
  • Houzz Pro (required); SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Canva a plus.
  • Self-motivated, assertive but respectful. Great at nurturing relationships. Detail-oriented but big-picture minded. Strong communicator and great at giving/receiving feedback.
