About the role
- Infrastructure Engineer developing and managing Azure infrastructure at Autocab, a taxi booking software provider. Collaborating on projects to enhance Dev Ops capabilities and security.
Responsibilities
- Working with a team of highly skilled and motivated people to develop and improve Azure based infrastructure.
- Reporting into the Infrastructure Team Leader and contributing to best practice across the estate.
- Managing an extensive infrastructure estate comprising of VMs, Containers, App Services, Storage Accounts, Resource Groups.
- Involved in ongoing projects to deliver SRE monitoring and alerting as well as improving Dev Ops capabilities.
- Using Azure expertise to recommend, design and deliver Azure solutions to meet product requirements.
- Striving for scalability, adaptability, and observability in infrastructure.
- Being part of the efforts to understand and remediate vulnerabilities in security.
Requirements
- 3 years or more commercial Azure IaaS and PaaS experience
- Strong network skills
- Experience administering Azure Services: AAD, App Service, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks.
- Experience with both Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
- Functional knowledge of network administration.
- Docker container technology
- Experience with continuity of Operations/Disaster Recovery architecture and planning.
- Experience with .NET application deployment on Azure.
- Understanding of Application Insights and monitoring of applications.
- Proficiency in scripting in Bash or Python.
- Dev Ops CI/CD pipelining skills
- Security engineering and operations
- SRE skills including monitoring and alerting
