About the role

  • Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas and insights.
  • Aid in further enhancing department tools, templates and methodologies
  • Gain exposure and knowledge on department functionalities
  • Develop positive professional relationships across departments
  • Complete special projects as assigned by your manager
  • Complete a capstone project to showcase the completion of learning objectives and present it to Senior Leaders
  • Collect data and perform validations using internal tools
  • Work on system implementations and provide maintenance updates to Labor Management Systems (LMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Utilize Excel and SQL to collect & analyze data from LMS databases
  • Travel to various buildings around the country as needed to provide field support
  • Assist industrial engineering with projects and present findings to internal stakeholders
  • Other projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited university
  • In good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Junior or Senior standing at the time of the internship
  • Currently majoring in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • Proficient with Google’s suite of products preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience with SQL preferred
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • Able to think outside of the box and solve problems
  • Able to work both with a team and be independently successful
  • Able to stay organized and pay close attention to detail
  • Comfortable being on your feet in a busy warehouse operating environment and working in different climate zones within a warehouse environment (Freezer, cooler, and dry)
  • Comfortable traveling via car or plane
  • Current Driver’s License Required
  • Flexible to changing plans and priorities
  • Willingness to be coached by experienced associates
