About the role
- Industrial Assembly Engineer managing drilling, fastening, jigs & tools activities for Airbus. Involves implementing technologies and processes with a focus on quality and operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage drilling, fastening, jigs & tools and measurement activities to secure the industrialization of technologies and the implementation of robust processes.
- Represent the Assembly Technology domain in front of operational domains (quality, operations, logistics, …), engineering and procurement in a manufacturing plant.
- Specify industrial jigs, tools and machinery for the industrial evolution.
- Define and prepare specification for Jigs & Toolings related to assembly of parts and components.
- Analyze the technical capability of suppliers.
- Develop local solutions based on customer needs and airbus standards.
- Align local assembly strategy with the central technology strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree level in Manufacturing Engineering or similar
- Knowledge in specifying tools & machinery
- 8 years of experience in a related role
- Domestic and International English: Fluent (spoken & written)
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders at different levels on technical and business matters
- Citizenship: Authorized to work in the US
