Responsibilities

  • Serve low-income immigrants in their immigration legal services needs
  • Provide direct legal services and advocacy
  • Engage in community education and advocacy

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Michigan or eligible for waiver
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to protecting the rights of immigrants and low-income individuals
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, G Suite
  • Access to reliable internet for remote work
  • Experience related to immigration and poverty preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is a plus
  • Relevant lived experience encouraged
