About the role

  • Graduate Fire Engineer responsible for fire safety engineering solutions at Ashton Fire. Collaborating with teams on projects across sectors to enhance fire safety management and protection measures.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with colleagues across all offices and support fire engineers at all levels on projects.
  • Develop fire strategy designs utilising a mixture of code compliance and performance-based approaches within a wide range of sectors such as residential, commercial, heritage, sports grounds, healthcare, etc.
  • Produce technical reports outlining assumptions and bases of design, methodologies, and recommendations.
  • Attend site visits (if required), whilst being accompanied and supported by an experienced engineer.
  • Continually advance your knowledge and skills in the application of fire engineering principles and relevant legislation through continual professional development.

Requirements

  • Entry-level positions are available.
  • Develop fire strategy designs utilising a mixture of code compliance and performance-based approaches.
  • Complete the graduate training scheme with support from your mentor.
