About the role

  • FP&A Specialist at Casar.com overseeing financial modeling and analysis for decision-making and governance. Collaborate with teams to enhance efficiency and business insights.

Responsibilities

  • Lead short-, medium-, and long-term financial modeling (P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet): Drive and formalize the forecast, budgeting, and long-term financial modeling processes, producing forward-looking views to support decision-making and target setting.
  • Assess economic and financial feasibility of projects/products: Model and critically evaluate feasibility analyses for new investments, projects or products.
  • Build performance dashboards and business indicators: Develop and maintain reports in Excel and/or BI (Power BI/Looker Studio) to report actual results and business projections.
  • Analyze performance and generate insights: Perform variance analyses (actual vs. plan), conducting deep investigations into deviations and identifying opportunities to optimize costs and revenues.
  • Monitor internal KPIs: Closely track the business's key performance indicators.
  • Improve processes and tools: Identify and implement improvements to automate and optimize data collection, consolidation and reporting, migrating manual processes to more efficient solutions.
  • Prepare executive reports and presentations: Create clear, relevant executive presentations for internal audiences and shareholders.
  • Support the evolution of corporate governance: Promote the creation and implementation of policies and action plans to achieve operational efficiency gains and mitigate identified business risks.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Corporate Finance
  • Solid hands-on experience (minimum 4 years) in FP&A, ideally in high-growth Technology/Fintech companies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related fields.
  • Advanced Excel (modeling, scenario simulation, advanced functions) and ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • Strong logical reasoning and a sense of urgency to deliver analyses in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
  • The following are important differentiators:
  • Previous FP&A experience at a fintech.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Experience addressing challenges typical of high-growth companies.
