About the role
- Financial Accountant ensuring financial practices conform to Egyptian law at Pipeline Gurus. Responsible for precise financial record management and compliance oversight with local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records in accordance with Egyptian accounting laws and standards
- Compile and prepare accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax laws, and stay updated on legislative changes
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for better decision-making
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes in accordance with local regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial practices with overall business objectives
- Educate staff on compliance with Egyptian financial regulations and best practices
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance financial processes and improve efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar role with a focus on Egyptian law
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Egyptian accounting principles and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in accounting software used within Egypt and MS Excel
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to handle complex financial data
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional certification such as CPA or CMA preferred
- Experience in financial analysis and regulatory compliance is advantageous
