Responsibilities
Become a key strategic partner to the CEO and senior management.
Lead financial planning, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities.
Shape and execute HR strategy to support sustainable growth.
Full ownership of financial management across Belgium, UK and the Netherlands.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting cycles; report directly to the Board of Directors.
Lead external accountants to manage accounting, tax, audit, and consolidation processes.
Ensure robust financial systems (Exact, Silverfin) and compliance.
Identify profitable growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Analyse company processes, continuously improve efficiency and quality.
Together with the CEO, develop the equity story for future funding and lead investment rounds.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in both Finance and HR at a senior management level.
Experience with VC backed companies and navigating through the VC/PE landscape. Track record in funding rounds and/or investment realisations.
Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Commercial mindset with strong negotiation capabilities.
Fluent in English and Dutch; French and German are nice to have.
Proficient in Excel and financial software (Exact, Silverfin).
