About the role
- Environmental Consultant 2 managing UST systems within the cleanWATER Environmental Team. Leading compliance, reporting, and client relationship efforts in the environmental consulting field.
Responsibilities
- Prepare reports and manuals for a range of project types
- Ensure UST systems comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations
- Prepare detailed reports on findings, remediation efforts, and compliance status
- Coordinate day-to-day operations and communicate areas of importance to meet deadlines and budgets
- Schedule planning to set priorities and track projects from start to finish
- Foster relationships with potential and existing clients
- Respond to emergencies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Master’s degree in a science-related discipline with 3+ years of full-time work experience in the environmental or related field - or - bachelor’s degree in science or engineer-related discipline with 5+ years of full-time work experience in the environmental or related field - or - High School diploma, GED, or equivalent with 7+ years of full-time work experience in the environmental or related field
- Working knowledge of environmental regulatory concepts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, primarily Word & Excel
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as required to complete projects
