About the role
- Engineer/Technician for construction management in property modernization at Covivio managing projects in Berlin. Collaborating with internal departments to ensure project success and quality, focusing on sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Planning and implementation of maintenance and modernization projects for preparatory works aimed at marketing/sales
- Coordination and assurance of relevant construction and trade processes in close cooperation with other internal departments, construction and craft companies, and purchasers
- Responsibility for scheduling and adherence to budget requirements in the above processes through to warranty claim management
- Preparation of project reports as well as monitoring and documenting acceptance processes to ensure quality and contractual compliance
Requirements
- Degree in civil engineering (structural engineering), architecture, or qualification as a building technician or master craftsman in the construction trades
- Experience in managing, supervising and executing modernization measures for existing properties, or knowledge of the housing/property management sector is an advantage
- Confident user of MS Office; knowledge of SAP and RIB/iTWO is a plus
- Very good communication skills (very good German language skills; good English skills are an advantage) and a confident manner
- Strong organizational skills and high customer- and service-orientation
