About the role
- Engineer/Technician in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Automation for a family-owned company. Engage in ship and drive automation projects, requiring collaboration across various disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Design, planning and integration of ship and propulsion automation systems
- Preparation of specifications
- Coordination with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and interdisciplinary teams (e.g., mechanical engineering)
- Close collaboration with design and manufacturing departments
- Management and oversight of our turnkey suppliers for ship electrical/electronic systems
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering, further training as a technician (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification
- Several years' professional experience in automation desirable
- Very good knowledge of E-CAD and MS Office
- Good written and spoken English
- Structured and thorough working style
