About the role

  • Oversee all divisional accounting, reporting, and financial operations in compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards (IFRS)
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Manage divisional working capital, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the division.
  • Provide detailed variance analysis and insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends.
  • Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop divisional finance staff.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.

Requirements

  • CPA designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) required.
  • 7–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Experience in a multi-entity or divisional organization preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and build cross-functional relationships.
