Senior DevOps Manager overseeing CI/CD processes for NVIDIA Networking products. Leading a team and collaborating with global teams to enhance R&D efficiency and infrastructure.
About the role
- Overall responsibility of CI/CD pipelines, availability and reliability of various platforms
- Support small multi-disciplined squads to deliver enhancements and new features of the product
- Write code to automate processes and manage platforms
- Investigate issues and support their resolution (application, architectural & infrastructure)
- Use software development techniques to diagnose and solve operational problems
- Research latest tools and techniques, analyse benefits and implement improvements
- Contribute to high-availability software efforts (latency, performance and capacity)
- Share knowledge, provide input, and be an active team member within the DevOps team
- Collaborate with Developers, QA, and IT to deliver quality solutions to Production environments
Requirements
- Experience with deployment tools such as Ansible and Jenkins
- Use of modern CI/CD tools for delivery and automation (AzureDevOps, GitLab, ...)
- Solid sysadmin and networks capabilities (TCP, firewall, Reverse Proxy, Load-Balancer, Web containers e.g. IIS and nginx)
- Strong knowledge of system administration across multiple OS (especially Windows and Linux)
- Knowledge of database concepts; experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle & ElasticSearch an advantage
- Familiarity with virtualization & containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Hyper-V, ...)
- Engineering skills using one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, shell scripting (Linux/Powershell)
- Experience of monitoring, logging and alerting stacks or APMs (Datadog, Dynatrace, Solarwinds, Prometheus, Grafana, TICK, ELK)
- Exposure to incident response processes and scenarios
- Solid verbal and written/diagrammatical communication skills
- Experience of quality assurance techniques such as load/stress/chaos testing
- Proven experience of collaborating with wider stakeholders such as Developers, QA, IT to deliver quality solutions to Production environments
- Passion for using software development techniques and experience to diagnose & solve operational problems (application, architectural & infrastructure)
