Responsibilities
- Support project squads from environment setup through production deployment.
- Systemic analytical capability for infrastructure and middleware.
- Define and implement automations for application and infrastructure installation.
- Raise production change requests for system and/or infrastructure updates.
- Resolve impediments that could impact testing and project schedules.
- Document procedures to enable knowledge transfer to other team members and operations teams.
- Assist support teams with critical and complex incidents.
Requirements
- Experience administering and supporting Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience implementing cloud technologies – Azure, AWS (IaaS/PaaS) and OCI.
- Experience deploying applications (Java/.NET).
- Experience deploying infrastructure in the cloud as code (Infrastructure as Code - IaC).
- Experience with container orchestrators (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
- Experience developing scripts (PowerShell/Shell Script/Python).
- Experience with middleware (Apache Tomcat/JBoss/IIS).
- Familiarity with Helix, Jira, and Confluence.
- Knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, roles, responsibilities, and ceremonies).
- Knowledge of high availability, backup, observability, resilience, and reliability for infrastructure and applications.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps.
- Knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity.
