Responsibilities
- Data analysis and validation: Clean and validate complex datasets using statistical and stochastic models to ensure high data quality
- Algorithm development: Design and develop complex algorithms to analyze very large datasets
- Develop data-driven strategies to ensure and optimize the functionality, performance, and safety of highly complex systems
- Generate impact: Implement condition-monitoring algorithms for safety-critical systems using complex sensor networks
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: Work in agile, interdisciplinary teams—both internally at INVENSITY and on-site with clients
- Knowledge sharing and mentoring: Share your expertise in workshops, coaching sessions, and projects while learning from other experts

Requirements
- Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Data Science
- Solid experience handling large-scale datasets and a strong understanding of statistical structures
- Excellent programming skills in Python
- Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Jenkins, Apache Spark, or Apache Airflow is a plus
- Enthusiasm for measurement technology and software development, with an interest in algorithms, sensor technology, predictive maintenance, and statistics
- Business-fluent German and fluent English
