About the role

  • Data Analyst responsible for BI reporting and strategic decision-making at V.tal. Collaborating with teams to analyze data and drive business performance improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports to monitor business performance.
  • Perform complex data analyses to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs and translate them into data requirements.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of the data used in analyses.
  • Support strategic decision-making with data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Query and data analysis languages: advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, aggregations, views, analytic/window functions).
  • BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense or Looker (dashboard building, KPIs, storytelling).
  • Databases: Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and/or BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift.
  • ETL / Data integration: Knowledge of tools such as Pentaho, Talend, Alteryx or processes implemented with Python/Airflow.
  • Data modeling: Star Schema, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, normalization and governance best practices.
  • Advanced Excel and use of DAX functions (for Power BI users).
  • Analytical and business skills: Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience defining KPIs and performance indicators.
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts (weighted mean, correlation, regression, variance, etc.).
  • Focus on process improvement, operational efficiency and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience producing executive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Behavioral competencies: Logical reasoning and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with diverse areas (operations, commercial, technology).
  • Analytical mindset and proactivity to propose solutions.
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data and under challenging deadlines.
  • Organization, sense of priority and results orientation.
  • Differentials (not mandatory but valued): Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning or predictive analytics.
  • Familiarity with APIs and report automation.
  • Experience in telecommunications, finance or retail, depending on the company's sector.
