About the role

Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of the program’s data, systems, and networks
- Assist and drive complex ATO RMF packages
- Design and implement system security into complex systems
- Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security controls
- Troubleshoot security and network problems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology systems engineering, or a related field, or applicable work experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance required
- 5 years of experience in cyber engineering (e.g., incident detection, incident response, forensic)
- Strong understanding and experience with securing, configuring, and assessing network security products such as Cisco Firepower, Cisco ISE, and Splunk
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, Mitre Attack Framework, DoD Compliance Frameworks such as DoDI 8510, DoDI 8570, Zero Trust Architectures)
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and technologies
- Familiarity and experience building and submitting complex ATO packages
- Designing and implementing system security into complex systems
- Experience with performing security vulnerability scans (ACAS)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
