Responsibilities
Support mission-critical defense programs, including SLBM systems
Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, and procedural guidance for combat systems
Conduct cybersecurity research, analysis, and coordination across multiple classification levels
Lead working groups to formulate cybersecurity strategies addressing emerging threats
Analyze cybersecurity, intelligence, and IT policy gaps affecting combat systems
Design and document cybersecurity system engineering solutions for tactical platforms
Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans tailored to combat systems
Create comprehensive documentation covering requirements, gap/threat analysis, system engineering, and risk mitigation
Utilize or develop Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models for cybersecurity analysis
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of direct experience with SLBM Programs
5 years of program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems, or 10 years of general security engineering experience
Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity requirements development
Demonstrated expertise in cyber threat analysis
Demonstrated expertise in cyber engineering
Demonstrated expertise in cyber systems architecture development
Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity policy development
IAT Level II or higher certification per DoD 8570.01 (or successor)
