About the role

  • Design industrial control panels using AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN
  • Support local manufacturing operations by diagnosing and resolving electrical issues
  • Specify and source electrical components to meet design and functionality requirements
  • Occasionally program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs
  • Create and maintain process control system documentation for end users

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 months of CAD experience
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and initiative skills
  • Technical writing skills for control system documentation
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN (preferred)
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code and UL508 standards (preferred)
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial network communications (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Coperion Process Solutions and Schenck Process products (preferred)
  • Experience with HMI screen development and troubleshooting (preferred)
