About the role
- Commissioning Engineer in pharmaceutical technology overseeing installations, service, and qualification processes. Engaging with clients nationally and internationally to maintain high quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Commissioning of systems domestically and internationally
- Execution of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical commissioning of pharmaceutical systems
- Qualifications and acceptance tests
- Independently performing qualification procedures and acceptance tests after successful commissioning – nationally and internationally
- Service assignments on pharmaceutical systems
- Maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of systems of various designs
- Technical consulting and support
- Point of contact for customers on technical issues and conducting audits and support assignments
- Recalibrations and functional tests
- Performing regular recalibrations and comprehensive functional tests to ensure system quality
- Support with FATs
- Participation in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for quality assurance prior to delivery
- Other role-related tasks
- Taking on additional responsibilities as required by individual projects
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Solid knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., S7; TIA Portal is an advantage but not required)
- Process engineering fundamentals: understanding of the design and operation of process engineering systems in the production, storage and distribution of WFI, PW, RD…
- Hydraulics, pressure and chemistry: advanced basic knowledge and practical experience in these areas are required
- HMI operation: experience operating Human Machine Interfaces is required
- Automation technology: experience with automation systems, control cabinets, sensor technology, etc.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of professional experience in the relevant field (commissioning, service, process engineering)
