Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design of different structural systems and components of a nuclear power plant
Understand the interactions between different structural, mechanical, electrical, and piping components of a system
Conduct system and plant operational functional requirements analysis
Perform functional allocation to operators or plant control systems
Perform structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis tools to develop the structural demands on different components
Support developing design and detailed drawings and specifications
Provide on-time, quality delivery of engineering documentation in accordance with contract requirements, business procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree of Science in civil structural engineering
0-3 years of civil engineering analysis and design experience
This job requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
PhD Degree in civil structural engineering (desired)
Registered Professional Engineer in the United States or Canada (desired)
