About the role
- Civil Structural Engineer focusing on the analysis and design of structural systems for Nuclear Power Plants. Collaborating with senior engineers to deliver high-quality engineering documentation and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of different structural systems and components of a nuclear power plant
- Understand the interactions between different structural, mechanical, electrical, and piping components of a system
- Conduct system and plant operational functional requirements analysis
- Perform functional allocation to operators or plant control systems
- Perform structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis tools to develop the structural demands on different components
- Support developing design and detailed drawings and specifications
- Provide on-time, quality delivery of engineering documentation in accordance with contract requirements, business procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree of Science in civil structural engineering
- 0-3 years of civil engineering analysis and design experience
- This job requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
- PhD Degree in civil structural engineering (desired)
- Registered Professional Engineer in the United States or Canada (desired)
