Responsibilities
Provide Citrix and virtualization expertise throughout project lifecycles, including solution documentation and implementation.
Serve as SME across Citrix, Windows, and Cloud technologies—collaborating with internal and external teams to build secure, scalable environments.
Contribute to strategic infrastructure planning and process improvements.
Deliver L3 support with emphasis on automation, IaC, deployment, orchestration, and monitoring.
Maintain infrastructure documentation to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
Participate in sprint planning and resolve technical blockers using deep domain expertise.
Manage golden image creation, patching, and optimization for virtual desktops.
Advise technical and non-technical teams on best practices in EUC and automation.
Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for infrastructure issues.
Strengthen infrastructure security through patching and vulnerability remediation.
Requirements
5+ years of enterprise Citrix administration experience
Citrix certified or equivalent hands-on expertise
Proven background in large-scale virtualization (clustering, HA, DR, load balancing)
Deep knowledge of XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
Experience with multiple hypervisors (Xen, KVM, Nutanix AHV, etc.)
Skilled in persistent/non-persistent virtual desktop design and management
Familiar with hybrid cloud and multi-datacenter setups
Strong scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation focus
Solid grasp of networking (DNS, AD, load balancing, caching)
Knowledge of app virtualization (MSIX, App-V, App Attach)
