Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer at Honeywell, contributing to innovative mechanical solutions for automotive. Leading repair strategy development and collaborating with engineering teams on design.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with suppliers and manage supplier monthly meetings
- Track/manage sample development deliveries to ensure that everything is on-time according to Critical Path using WFX/Excel Pivot Table
- Negotiating cost prices to ensure we achieve budget margin % using fit notes & record in WFX, referring to supplier history
- Update and ensure details of each style attributions are correct in WFX
- Ensure WFX (PLM) is kept up to date and tidy by GTs/PD/Design
- Help set RRPs alongside Product Developers/Design Manager to ensure a balanced pricing architecture across the categories
- Prepare samples and cost prices for fits/buy meetings
- Prepare the Line List from WFX (our system) for each buy
- Track factory allocation for each style/collection to ensure we have a balance
Requirements
- Good excel/google sheets skills
- Passion for fashion! You may have a fashion qualification - though this is preferred, it isn't essential
- Prior experience working in an office environment
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team with a "can-do" attitude and positive disposition
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
