About the role
- Business Intelligence Developer responsible for ETL architecture and reporting development. Collaborate with teams to enhance data quality and automation in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop dashboards and interactive reporting using SQL Server Reporting Services and comparable tools.
- Design and maintain ETL and the supporting data objects for our growing BI infrastructure.
- Create simple to complex analytical solutions.
- Design and maintain complex data schema projects.
- Identify architectural improvements to enhance ETL performance and workflows.
- Gather requirements, develop design and technical specification documents, and perform impact analysis.
- Collaborate to build extendable analytical data models.
- Provide ad hoc data and report requests in SSRS using relational, SSAS data sources (cubes) and MDX scripts to support business needs.
- Troubleshoot production issues and performance tuning of query performance, ETL performance and report performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience in an analytical position involving data management and collection, modeling, and interpretation across complex data sets.
- 7-10 years’ experience with SSRS.
- 7-10 years’ experience with SSIS.
- 7-10 years’ experience with SSAS.
- Experience with data warehouse technologies.
- Strong T-SQL knowledge.
- Experience with cubes and MDX scripts.
- Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
- Strong analytical thinking and organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical design and specifications.
- Detail oriented.
