About the role
- Power BI business intelligence analyst supporting data-driven initiatives at Desjardins. Engage with clients on Power BI projects while optimizing data visualization and consumption practices.
Responsibilities
- Support projects that use Power BI according to established procedures
- Help IT and business teams adopt best practices for data visualization and consumption
- Identify opportunities to improve work methods and processes, and make recommendations
- Help projects optimize requests to ensure optimal performance of shared capacity
- Occasionally participate in cross-sector projects to design and develop Power BI reports
- Participate in the management of the Power BI community of practice
- Help update the documentation base (Confluence) for the team and internal clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in business intelligence
- Experience with data visualization with Power BI
- Relevant Microsoft certifications
- Knowledge of French is required
- Knowledge of best practices for data visualization
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps
